Designed specifically for new teachers who support students with disabilities, the 新老师跳起来 program will build foundational skills with new special education teachers that emphasize planning, 协作 and instructional best practices. Registration is for two (2) half-day virtual sessions and will include relevant, engaging content developed for new teachers.

- Identify the key components of maintaining high expectations for students with disabilities.
- Describe the importance of increasing communication skills in students as a way of increasing independence and access to academics.
- Unpack standards to increase access to academic content for students with disabilities.
- Identify specific ways in which implementing elements of Universal Design for Learning can increase access to general education content and settings.

Teachers ready to engage in a more intensive professional development opportunity to build capacity and establish themselves as leaders in their district will engage in content, 协作, coaching through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous professional development. 全年, they will implement a plan to address a problem of practice which will be presented as a capstone project at the end of the year. 这包括:
